The food is always fresh and delicious. Staff is very professional and hospitable. We ate downstairs for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. We had the Crispy Squid (with Sweety drop pepper, white onion, balsamic vinaigrette), “Key West” Florida Grouper (Coconut-panko crust, citrus basmati, charred broccolini, lump crab, avocado key lime butter) and Red Snapper w/ Spicy Potato & Herb Butter (Crispy yukon potato, cherry pepper, aspiration, basil, crispy leek). Possibly our new favorite New Brunswick restaurant.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the Metuchen area. Service: Hostess and servers were welcoming and really provided great service. Even with the pressure of the Valentine’s Day crowd they kept their cool and really kept the operation moving and provided top service. We didn’t feel rushed but they were able to keep us sitting the 2 hr max time slot during for this holiday. Food and cocktails: Sooo delicious. There was nothing we ordered that wasn’t delicious and really well made. The cocktails were perfect. The right mix. Thank you for the great cooks and bartenders. Atmosphere: Super cool. Loved the artwork at the bar. They had entertainment that wasn’t overly loud but really drew our attention. Just a fun place to be on a Friday night. I’ll definitely be back and if you’re in the area you should check it out as well.

Always looking for a great dining experience. Frog and Peach always rated one of the best restaurants. Finally got there and it was everything I've always read about. What took me so long to get there?! You'll need to see for yourself- it's simply the best!

This was our first visit to Steakhouse 85. We enjoyed the whole experience. The food, service, value and ambiance were top of the line. We were there on their Date Night. For $125 a couple, you get an appetizer, entree, desert and bottle of wine from their short list. The selections for Date Night gave us good choices and we chose things that we were going to order originally. I will definitely go back and highly recommend it!

Red Lobster South Plainfield, NJ is a good choice! We ordered two very good meals, the Seafarer's Feast and the Mariner's Feast (both in the $30.00 price range.) One platter was Fried Shrimp, grilled Maine Lobster tail, Garlic Shrimp, and a skewer of 4 fantastic scallops. The other was Fried Shrimp, the skewer of scallops, and Salmon topped with Langostino sauce. Each came with a choice of two sides and the Cheddar Bay biscuits. Our choices were garden salad and mashed potatoes. Everything was very good! Our waiter was new but very concerned about doing a good job; he checked with us several times, and I also heard him asking another customer if his cocktail had come out the way he requested. That customer was also very satisfied and joked with the server. Another server who recognized us (I was surprised by that), came over just to ask how our grandchildren were doing because she remembered their photos from a previous visit. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The only real drawback to most of the Red Lobster chain is the somewhat dated decor. I can live with that.
