The ambiance and atmosphere in this restaurant is lovely. Food is always delicious. Service was great. Everyone enjoyed their Christmas here. It is a top notch restaurant #1 in Sarasota, FL. The owner, sons, family members, chef, servers, bartender, etc. do a fabulous job! Kudos to all at Rosemary & Thyme!

If you want authentic Spanish/Cuban food, Columbia is the place to go in Sarasota. We tried a number of things from the menu, chopped tomatoes, Cuban black bean soup (vegan), stuffed shrimp, key lime pie, and white chocolate bread pudding. These items, along with the crispy bread and an Andulusian Gimlet with fresh strawberries were fantastic. Our waitress has quite friendly and extremely prompt, which added to the overall experience. We will definitely be visiting again and hoping to have a cozy table inside. We were seated on the sidewalk (which was the only availability when we made our reservation), and the constant parade of cars, people, and dogs often distracted us from the wonderful meal before us. Note to self: reserve early, this restaurant is extremely popular!

My only regret is that I don’t live closer so that I could experience this fabulous restaurant more often. Glenda took great care of us, and we sat outside on a beautiful night. I highly recommend the scallops, Caesar salad, the tuna entree and the skirt steak with plantains. This was a special anniversary for us, and the dessert- a chocolate confection of mousse with a hard chocolate shell- was divine. Thank you, Selva, for a memorable evening!

We always love the Grill Room. The location is great, easy menu with something for everyone, good service, fresh food that is well prepared every time. We only wish the hours were longer so we could go even more!

Brittney was an amazing server. She did everything she could to best assist us. She joked with us, chatted with us and made our Christmas Eve lunch extra tasty!
