    Everything was great. Specialty cocktails were a nice surprise. Appetizer and salads were excellent. Our steaks were prepared perfectly, combo scallops and crabcake were delicious. Service was very good. Low lighting made it romantic. Great place!! We live 2 1/2 hours from it, but we will definitely be back.

    Glad we made reservations because the Highland House was packed! Good to see a restaurant doing so well. We got seated right away. Our waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable and speedy. Food and drinks were brought out quickly.

    The atmosphere and our waitress was outstanding, however our food was very bland and not seasoned well. We had the buffalo cauliflower, although the cauliflower was cooked well, there was no buffalo sauce. I also had the blackened salmon, again, it wasn’t bad but no spice, no flavor at all. Also no flavor on the pico..mainly tomatoes and onions so not really a pico. We come back because of the proximity to home and atmosphere, along with great service. But please season the food!
