Waiting staff were lovely and friendly, food was wonderful.

The blues kitchen is always a favourite of mine, however Shoreditch branch seemed to have mastered the art of perfect and friendly service and incredible warm and homely food. Great vibe, decor leaves mind to wander, would absolutely visit again.

Absolutely fantastic on every count. The service, the atmosphere, and importantly, the food. Could not fault it at all. Wanted a great meaty restaurant to take my vegetable hating husband to on his birthday. Someone at work had recommended Blacklock so I booked it. We’ve been to Hawksmoor a few times and loved it, so our expectations were high and it did not disappoint. Staff were amazing from the moment we arrived. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Attentive to exactly the right level. Food was sensational. We had the Prime Rib (700g) and a bacon chop, plus fries. So good. Deserts were also lovely- bread and butter pudding and 698142 cheese cake both fabulous. We then had a tipple at the bar on the way out. All excellent and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

Second time I’ve been… first time with business as I wanted top notch vegetarian, without going to a vegetarian restaurant.. This time with my daughter.. she was deeply impressed as was I. Brilliant service, attentive without being OTT.. food was better than I remembered.. we probably over ordered but still had room for dessert.. Aubergine exception… Prawn toast unbeatable… Lomo very very good. Will be back
