We had the most marvellous Sunday lunch, beautifully presented and bursting with lots of different flavours. The pub was heaving with diners but we were served in a timely manner by friendly and courteous staff. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Really wonderful food. We had the carvery ,2 courses and a drink. Prices so good Would recommend and definitely go again. Staff very nice and worked really hard to get us everything we needed.

The ambience in No.23 is wonderful, very popular with locals and out of towners alike, and it’s very clear why. Cocktails are fantastic and very well done, and the food is delicious. The staff are also extremely pleasant and friendly but also very professional making sure everyone is served promptly and sufficiently. We had a great evening and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect, we will undoubtably be visiting No.23 again and we highly recommend that if you are in the area to pay this little gem a visit.

Friendly staff all though the service was a bit slow probably due to the just eat orders flying out of the kitchen. value for money a good solid meal nothing spectacular but nothing horrible either the slaw was decent. I would have preferred a proper plate rather than plastic burger box.
