This is one of the busiest restaurants in Ottawa but I was never willing to wait at the door for a table to be available since there are so many other restaurants around Lansdowne. However, I finally made a reservation to go and I see why the restaurant is so popular, even though prices are on the high side. Everyone at our table loved the food and the service was the best I’ve experienced in Ottawa for a while. Mia was so attentive. You have to try this place at least once.

We requested a booth on the reservation and they didnt reserve one at first but then were able to accomodate us. The server was great, very friendly and quick. The food and drinks were delicious. Ambience is perfect for all occasions. Only note the prime rib cut was very fatty, and it took 3 ladies at the front to issue me a single gift card… more training i think is needed.

I recently dined with couple of friends at Bistro Ristoro and was absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent customer service. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with a pleasant mix of traditional and modern decor. Now, let's talk about the food—wow! Every dish we ordered was a culinary masterpiece. The chicken marsala was creamy and perfectly seasoned, the shrimps were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the plieskavitza was cooked to perfection. Each bite was bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavors that transported me straight to the Mediterranean coast. What really stood out was the staff's attention to detail and genuine hospitality. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our glasses were always full and that we had everything we needed. Overall, Bistro Ristoro exceeded my expectations in every way.
