Or, if you want to grab a couple of beers with your friends before catching a rugby or soccer game at the Starlight Stadium, you are certainly welcome! The Galloping Goose Trail is right near by for those who enjoy hiking or biking, as well as many other trails. If you need to do some shopping, the Westshore Town Center has over 30 shops and stores.     We had a fabulous gal's lunch on Friday at Boom and Batten. We were seated at table #34 on the upper level. Our server was amazing! Our water glasses were filled before the glasses were empty, and the same applied for our coffee cups. Although the food was a little pricey every bite was delicious! The restaurant was quite busy but we were able to hear each other talk . I will definitely be returning!

    We attended Sawmill Creek's "Breakfast With Santa" brunch on Sat. 14 Dec 2024, in Colwood BC. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were surprised that there were no more people at the restaurant for the event. Our meal was fantastic and the service was exceptional. Wait staff were friendly and our conversation with them elevated our dining experience - even the manager/owner stopped by for a quick chat and we shared some holiday greetings. A definite "must do" event, if you are in the Victoria BC/Colwood BC area for the holidays.
