Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 18 hours.

We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. With its small red frontage nestled in amongst the rainbow colours of Carlton Street, the store has a lot more to show off inside than first meets the eye. True Indian lovers in Nottingham will already be familiar with this acclaimed restaurant on Maid Marian Way. A modern space with bucket-loads of style and a menu that had the restaurant named 'Runner Up Best Restaurant' by The Observer Food Monthly Awards. This ornate, luxe dining room is dressed with maroon coloured feature walls, Indian craftwork and leather sofas. The wine list is mostly Euro with a few antipodean bottles thrown in for good measure, and signature dishes at MemSaab include the tandoori ostrich infused with garlic and red chilli; and the rasmalai dessert - Indian milk patties in a saffron sauce garnished with edible rose petals.
