- CCarolVIPSan Diego •70 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAnother magical Christmas celebration with girlfriends at Mister A's! Excellent food and service as usual. The views are spectacular, too, and we had a beautiful day. My only complaint is that there are only a couple of salads to choose from on the lunch menu. It would be nice to include a few more options. Otherwise, it was excellent!More infoMister A'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.8

- YYelenaVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •15 reviews5.0Dined 4 days ago⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 9/10 Dining at Seneca in San Diego felt like stepping into a dream — the atmosphere was enchanting, with breathtaking views and an ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable evening. Our server, Victor, was nothing short of exceptional. His attentiveness, patience, and thoughtful menu suggestions elevated the entire experience. He navigated the evening with grace, making us feel truly cared for. The only reason this isn’t a perfect 10/10 is that the food took longer than expected to arrive. For a moment, time seemed to stretch — but when the dishes finally graced our table, every bite was a masterpiece. It was a delay we were willing to forgive for such a culinary experience. Seneca isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a destination. I’ll be back — and next time, I’ll be ready to savor every second. 🍷✨More infoSenecaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.7
- HHarrySan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAttentive service w/o being too much. Fun and modern ambiance w/ some touches of warmth - like the fireplace :). Unique menu items and flavors that work together is #1 reason we go. San Diego has some good restaurants but... most restaurants serve the same food as each other - just w/ their twist. I say "So what"? That's boring and I can make most of that food at home for much less and at least equally as good. Herb & Wood has a menu that stands out and the flavors work so well together no matter what we order. Not inexpensive by any means but not taking-advantage-of-you pricing either. High quality, well prepared, and thoughtful menu items with a true connection to "flavor town"! Eggplant, Branzino, Apple/Fig Salad, Hamachi, Date Cake... all winners. It's a special occasion restaurant mostly but I see it as a regular go-to when I crave food that stands out!More infoHerb & WoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Little Italy•4.7
- JJune and GarySan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 10, 2024Fabulous food. Sometimes the service was a little off. Drinks forgotten, missing silverware, entrees not all brought out at the same time. However, STILL one of my favorite restaurants to visit. There is no other place in town quite like it. The food is creative, delicious and and always exciting.More infoARTIFACT at MingeiPrice: Expensive• International• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.8
