Restaurants near San Diego Civic Theatre

It was very quiet and empty when we arrived … a bit concerning. The staff was amazing. Only surpassed by the quality of the food. 3 in our group and each dish was yummy. The outside tables filled up by the time we left. Javier was our waiter and made our experience fantastic. Can’t wait to go again!

Dining at Operacaffe was a great experience. The location was perfect for our show at the Balboa Theater, and we conveniently parked right across the street at the Horton parking garage on 4th and F st. The service was prompt and courteous, and the food was delicious. The house wines were also very good and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

The Grant Grill certainly knows how to uphold its identity as a landmark location in the area. Every appetizer, entrée, and dessert was spectacular. The three of us nearly licked our plates clean. The service was phenomenal, our waiter was funny and informative about everything on the menu. We came here for a special occasion, and the team at Grant Grill made it all the more special. We are certainly looking forward to a chance to return and try something now.
