- YYelenavipSacramento / Sacramento Valley •15 reviews5.0Dined 1 day ago⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 9/10 Dining at Seneca in San Diego felt like stepping into a dream — the atmosphere was enchanting, with breathtaking views and an ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable evening. Our server, Victor, was nothing short of exceptional. His attentiveness, patience, and thoughtful menu suggestions elevated the entire experience. He navigated the evening with grace, making us feel truly cared for. The only reason this isn’t a perfect 10/10 is that the food took longer than expected to arrive. For a moment, time seemed to stretch — but when the dishes finally graced our table, every bite was a masterpiece. It was a delay we were willing to forgive for such a culinary experience. Seneca isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a destination. I’ll be back — and next time, I’ll be ready to savor every second. 🍷✨More infoSenecaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.7

Unfortunately the food was a little underwhelming (my chicken was dry and my friends’ side dish was cold). However, the holiday decorations were so fun and festive. Had a great evening celebrating my friend’s birthday!More infoinsideOUTPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hillcrest•4.8

A top restauraunt, one of the best in San Diego, that makes for a memorable occasion. One note that may be helpful: we went for Jazz brunch on a Saturday, and despite the band playing in the bar, the volume was just right and we could easily hear each other speak.More infoMister A'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.8
- JJanSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Prado at Christmastime; it doesn’t get any more iconic San Diego than that! We dined with good friends, brought in one bottle of wine and ordered one at the table. Food was outstanding; our server, Katarina, was attentive and knowledgeable and good natured. Very good at her job! We had a great table and were never rushed to next course. It was a beautiful relaxing evening to share an outstanding dining experience with great friends.More infoThe Prado at Balboa ParkPrice: Moderate• Californian• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.6

Drinks forgotten, missing silverware, entrees not all brought out at the same time. However, STILL one of my favorite restaurants to visit. There is no other place in town quite like it. The food is creative, delicious and and always exciting.More infoARTIFACT at MingeiPrice: Expensive• International• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.8
