We came to celebrate our anniversary and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and we were very comfortable sitting and enjoying our evening without being rushed. Service was great and our server was very helpful. We will return often.

Everything is first rate including the well prepared food options, the professional wait staff, the lovely room and that fantastic view through those gigantic plate glass windows onto the state park marina and the harbor and lake beyond. We have visited the Island House Hotel several times over the years and have always had only the best of dining experiences at the 1852 Grill Room.
