My husband and I dined here for Valentine’s Day. Heather was a phenomenal server from start to finish and the general manager Michael made sure we were spoiled as well. We had the oysters, filet, and NY strip for dinner and all were excellent. Hard to beat the prices for the top quality experience you’ll get here. Then we got two desserts (angel food cake and a pink Apple dish) on the house, which was not out of character at all for Michael’s and Navarre’s reputation. We hadn’t previously dined with Heather before, but I will happily request her every time here on out. Navarre catered our wedding in 2019 and it’s always fun and nice going back. Thanks for a wonderful date night!

From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave the service is excellent. The vibe is everything you look forward to when having a date night. Our waiter Lee went above and beyond to make sure we had a good night! We loved the menu and especially the bone in NY strip that was so juicy and perfectly cooked. Probably the best steak I’ve ever had! Felt like I was dining in Chicago or out of town. Definitely my new favorite restaurant and will be back again to try more options on the menu.

Great meal. Harp playing outside checkin. Celebrated Valentines with wife and sophmore son. They had an alternative menu for Valentines. Unable to order the salad for my vegetarian wife. So she got Hummus which was great. The glaze on the Tofu was not palatable for her. So only food item that wasn’t excellent. Wish they would have let her order the pear salad off the Valentines menu for 2. Also, parking was supposed to be included but they said lot was full with 2 open spots visible. We made the best of it and even survived going to get the car in the snow at the bookstore lot. Shocked I said excellent but really enjoyed having dinner with my wife and son at Rohr.

We have never had a bad meal at the South Bend, Kankakee Grill. Valentine's day did not disappoint! Everyone in our group of 4, enjoyed the Valentine's special starring a filet mignon and a salmon cake. Started with a side salad and ended with a yummy chocolate dessert. The strawberry chocolate martini was also enjoyed.

Chris in Mishawaka/Granger, IN, was truly remarkable and surpassed our previous visits. From the moment we made our reservation, the staff went above and beyond to address our concerns about seating—since I mistakenly booked a booth in the bar. They quickly accommodated our request to move us to the dining area, which we greatly appreciated. The host and our waiter were fantastic, and the food exceeded our expectations. The only minor hiccup was the lighting, which flickered from low to high beams towards the end of our meal. Despite this, everything else was exceptional! We can't wait to return for another wonderful dining experience.
