Based in Greetham, The Wheatsheaf is 6 miles from Oakham and 4 miles from Rutland Water. Carol and Scott took over the Wheatsheaf in March 2008. The seasonal Modern British menu changes weekly. The wine list is based on wines from around the world with a good selection by the glass. We also have an excellent selection of beers and local cask ales.In 2021 The Wheatsheaf was a new entry in The Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastro Pubs and was also awarded The Michelin Red Plate. Stacey and Paul sensed something was missing from the Lincoln dining experience. Paul had always had a passion to open up an independent restaurant and as a local girl Stacey recognised that although Lincoln is a historical City and a very dynamic and growing City, there was a clear need for a relaxed restaurant experience that combined history with modernity.
