Grill and Dining G is located inside the Karuizawa Marriott Hotel. The expansive dining area has tables along the curved outer wall that is floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the peaceful gardens. It is the perfect place for a lunch meeting for work with the free Wi-Fi and presentation area. It is also suitable for lunch with a friend. Grill and Dining G uses aged meat for the dishes as well as vegetables sourced from local farmers. Grill and Dining G offers many types of wines and cocktails. Essence is a casual restaurant that serves French cuisine using seasonal ingredients. Chef Shiro Naito opened the restaurant in 2010 to provide dishes that celebrate the essence of each season. Essence is conveniently located next to Inokashira Park and Ghibli Museum. Its spacious dining area provides tables for guests and a private room for special occasions. The menu at Essence offers themed seasonal courses. The restaurant uses organic, pesticide-free vegetables from Yoko Farms, has its fish and shellfish delivered directly from Hakodate and uses chemical-free fertilizer from Tokorozawa to grow some of its own ingredients.

    これまで食べたお鮨のなかで間違いなく一番でした！ ノドグロや炙り大トロのウニ載せなど、どれも最高でした！ 料理の捌きも素晴らしく、貴重な体験が出来ました！ またいつの日か訪れたいです。
