Restaurants near Sistersville Historic District

Probably the best restaurant in Parkersburg. Not cheap, but elegant dining in an elegant venue. Reservations are not required but highly recommended. Come for the live piano music on weekend evenings. I’ve been coming to Parkersburg on business for several years— the Blennerhassett is an old-world experience not to be missed and the dining room is the best.

We had a wonderful Valentine's meal! I had the Moroccan Lamb with Risotto. It was wonderfully tender and full of flavor. We came from out of town and didnt know what to expect but we felt like the food definitely rivals that of bigger city fare.

After a highly anticipated trip to Trace Chophouse at Ogelby, we left more than satisfied. Started with the bone marrow and clams casino, both delicious! Next was lobster bisque, safe to say there was nothing left the spoon could retrieve. We shared the A5 Wagyu, literally melted in the mouth. Highly recommend! Then came the ribeye. Perfectly cooked. Could’ve been a little thicker but all in all very good. It was accompanied by the Diane sauce, also wonderful. For sides we got the mash potatoes (riser) and creamed spinach. Possibly best creamed spinach I’ve ever had. Service was amazing, Kristen/Kirsten went above and behind. It’s hard for me to give Ogelby any kind of praise, but the did a wonderful job tonight.

We had a party of eight. The food was delicious but what made our experience even better was our server Malcos. He was so helpful and so attentive. He is a credit to Oglebay.

The Valentines surf & turf meal was fantastic! Very good food & the price was great! Rebecca was our waitress & was very attentive. Love seeing Glen whenever we are there! Great place to eat!
