Valentine's Day was a fantastic experience and a time was had! Here at Bea's Kitchen & Kocktails black owned, definitely had to show some love for Black History Month. The decorations displayed for Valentines at Bea's Kitchen & Kocktails were too cute. The decorations added such a lovely touch. The music was perfect. The DJ understood the assignment and the mood just right! Perfect tunes from the time reservations @530pm with 90mins max at a table till we left. Ordered the catfish dinner with red beans and rice along with the Mac and cheese and the second entree were the grilled pork chops dinner with cabbage and Mac and cheese. Everything tasted as good as the neat presentation. The food was very scrumptious! The chops were mouth-watering a must TRY! All the ingredients were fresh and everything was HOTT! And a cheese cake also came with the speciality dinner. No complaints there. Didn't take long for our meal to be prepared. Our waitress named was Jay. She was so sweet and attentive. And thoroughly knew the menu. Even took a pic of my family for me. The atmosphere was so inviting with such kindness from the staff. Glad we celebrated here at Bea's Kitchen & Kocktails! . Me and girlfriend went for valentines day.This place is dope! The tables are kinda small, but that's ok, because the food arrives quickly so you'll have room when they take the plates. GET THE SEAFOOD!!! DELICIOUS!!! the scallops and oysters are top tier! Salute to the chefs, host, waiters and waitresses. Everybody that works there is knowledgeable about the food and drinks! Can't beat the prices for what they have, simply AMAZING! Definitely will be back

Maple Tree Inn is a very nice place to eat, my husband is from New Orleans and said the food was very good. He wasn't fond of the red beans & rice(too much rice ,not enough beans and sauce) but he enjoyed the seafood gumbo. The Pecan Crusted Crab cake was delicious and meaty. We both had the Jambalaya and it was fantastic. We were there celebrating our anniversary and they gave us complimentary beignets for dessert. My only slight complaint was that it was a bit chilly in the restaurant when we first arrived but as the place filled up it felt better. It was a great anniversary.

Over crowded which slowed down service; someone passed out in the kitchen (hope they’re ok), the live band sang two songs and left; and we weren’t seated for over an hour. Food was good per usual, but I’ll stick to brunch or other earlier times/days because it was too much going on to enjoy like we usually do.
