Always a great experience, food and service are impeccable.

Great experience started with a cocktail at the bar. Bar staff was experienced and friendly. Seasonal cocktails were delicious and unique. We were seated for dinner in a less desirable dining area. It felt like overflow from the main dining room. This was disappointing because we made a reservation in advance. Noise was higher here too. Terrain should list the two dining rooms on OpenTable so guests can select. (Other OT restaurants do this) If we knew we were getting stuck in the less desirable section we would have picked another restaurant. Food was good and also unique.

We have been to the Washington House twice in the past 3 months. Once for dinner, and once for lunch. Both experiences were excellent. Visits to other establishments over this same time period have been disappointing. Meals at these establishments were "okay" and prices were high, so we expected something special. Not at the Washington House. Food and prices are good. The Washington House offers many choices and each has a special touch - maybe the sauce, maybe the sides, maybe the entree choice. The special today was Chilean sea bass with risotto, and the other meal we had was salmon and shrimp, with Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer. All food was prepared well and the sauces were light and very tasty. We like to order something that we might not prepare at home and we were not disappointed.

Everything was excellent` food, service, ambiance! This is one of our most favorite restaurants!

The food and service was excellent. I really enjoyed myself with my friend that we meet once a month for dinner. I happen to go online and found this restaurant which had really good reviews and I definitely agree. The meal was delicious. I definitely will be going back.
