- BBettyVIPSan Diego •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur experience for Christmas dinner was overall pretty good. The service was great and the staff was friendly. The food was very delicious, we enjoyed the octopus, wagyu meatballs and the flatbread. For dinner we had the roasted chicken, surf and turf, beef wellington and chilean sea bass with mac and cheese, brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Steak was delicious! Lobster tail could of used a bit more seasoning. Beef wellington was great but the crust tasted like ritz crackers. Chilean Sea bass was tasty, the sauce was sweet and buttery. To one of my kids it had a taste of sea moss. The mac n cheese was good but a little underwhelming. Brussel sprouts were good with a hint of spice, but the reduction sauce was a bit too sweet and overpowering the vegetable. The potatoes were good. Great experience overall, and we do intend to come back to try other items on the menu.More infoGordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen - Washington DCPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary European• Southwest Waterfront•4.5

The burger is always consistently great, and their avocado and shrimp salad is my favorite. The mushroom lasagna I ordered today is my new favorite. So light and elegant but so much depth of flavor. Scallops are always the best - my daughter who orders scallops everywhere she goes said that it was one of the best that she has had. The chicken was not done completely a small part of it was still a bit raw, and the swordfish was a bit tough. But all the sides were perfectly done. Hash browns and sweet potatoes are a must. The carrots were packed with flavor. The service was excellent.More infoAda's on the RiverPrice: Moderate• American• Old Town Alexandria•4.7

We also ordered for a Fettuccine Alfredo (Shrimp) which wasn’t on the menu but they could make it, which was appreciable. All in all we had a great christmas eve dinner.More infoMia's Italian KitchenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Alexandria•4.8
