We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at The Legh Arms and the ambience and staff were excellent. My husband ordered the gammon which he found hard to cut so this was replaced with another which he also found hard to cut. I don’t actually think the gammon was at fault more that the steak knives were not sharp enough as he said it was easy to eat. The staff were great and couldn’t have done anymore and actually knocked the cost of the final bill which was appreciated. We will certainly return in the future as we really liked the atmosphere and choices on the menu.

We visited on a Friday tea time as a party of four. The atmosphere was great and plenty of people having a good time. The meals we ordered - fish and chips, mushroom tagliatelle were generous in proportion and full of flavour. Particularly nice was the salt and pepper fries. Good value for money and great service. Would highly recommend
