Restaurants near Southwind by Panhandle Getaways

Nice place but nothing special. Enjoyed the broiled platter with a little taste of everything. Shrimp kinda small, fish and scallops good, crab cake just so-so. Of the restaurants in Pier Park it is your best bet.

We traveled to Panama City Beach to celebrate our son’s 21st birthday. He is disabled (seizure disorder and autism). Although he is unaware of the significance of this birthday, we are, and wanted to do something special, as he had a rough few months at the end of 2023 with health issues. The staff at Señor Frogs went out of their way to deliver exactly the experience we had hoped for. They made sure to find us seating to accommodate his wheelchair and did a big show of singing Happy Birthday and celebrating him. We are so appreciative!

Food was very, very bland. I got the mixed vegetables and rice and beans as my sides. I couldn’t eat either of them. The rice and beans tasted like tap water. The veggies were just mushy and overcooked with no seasoning. My entree of coconut shrimp was $33 and it was the worst meal I ate while on vacation. Our sign should have been that it was Saturday night and the place was empty.

I loved the experience and I would definitely do it again i will save my points to come back and try for more! The food was wonderful the seating was great. The music was a little loud but it was not unbearable. We did not like that there was not a way to put cash on your play card but we firgued it out!

Great experience and fun for everyone in our group. Service was excellent and we loved our waitress.
