Excellent food, service, and Christmas decor! I recommend the crab cake appetizer, lobster bisque, filet medallions (tonight’s special), and their Christmas chocolate butter cake.

This place is top-notch! My mother and I have been going here for just about a year, and every time, we walk away very satisfied. You are greeted by the bartender as you arrive. Walk through to the hostess station and give your name on the reservation. (I highly recommend you use the Open Table App to set your reservation. This place fills up quickly, and you want to make sure you have a table reserved so you are not waiting.) The waiter and employees are very nice and courteous to you and are very knowledgeable (the server) about the dishes on the menu. Almost always, you see the owner walking around and he engages with you about your food, wait staff, and server, as well as your overall experience there. He is very warm and kind and it makes the meal just that much better.

I took two special women to lunch at Cooper's Hawk in Merrillville,, IN, today. I hadn't been there myself for a while. I was not disappointed. The food was excellent and my guests loved the place.

Our dining experience at the Farm House restaurant was excellent. Our server Rae was amazing from the start. She was very enthusiastic about about her job and went out of her way to make sure our first time dining experience was memorable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful and inviting. I hope to visit this restaurant again soon.
