Restaurants near St. Charles Peak Trail

First time visitor with my wife as we chose them for a Saturday breakfast. Thought there was a good selection to choose from and service was good as well. We had the eggs benedict and smothered breakfast burrito that we would recommend to others. We plan on dining again in the future to try their dinner menu.

It’s was a special date with the wife, Valentines Day. The Shamrock had a dinner special. We had the Scottish eggs, lobster bisque and the filet with a lobster tail. Everything was amazing for dinner! We did order the cheesecake to go, unbelievable how amazing the Carmel apple cheesecake with pecan was. Definitely would recommend this place for anyone. If you haven’t had the chicken green chili mac. I would highly suggest giving it a try.

Our server was not as attentive as I would have liked. It was Valentines Day and the winery had a special menu. After we were seated at our table, we were given the regular menus. When our server vame to get our drink orders,we had to ask for the special menu. We ordered a bottle of white wine which arrived at room temperature in a metal wine bottle cooler with ice at the bottom. At the end of the meal, our server did apologize for being slow. The owner made her presence known to everybody. She went to each table several times to chat and check on the customers. She made us and everybody feel welcome. The food was delicious! We started with crab stuffed mushrooms. My wife had the seated scallops and I had the New York strip steak. The scallops were seasoned and cooked perfectly, not salty or overcooked. I ordered my steak rare and it, too, was cooked perfectly. For dessert, we had the New Tork cheesecake and the key lime tart. Our overall experience was a fun night and a great way to celebrate Valentines Day.

Excellent food and service. May be difficult to hold a conversation due to the noise level but this shouldn’t deter you from trying this place. Sooooo good!!

Great food, great service. The restaurant was well maintained. The manager checked on us several times, and thanked us for coming it.
