- RRichardEdmonton / Northern Alberta •5 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoAnother really nice dinner at Sorrentinos. We were seated quickly, the wait staff was excellent, and had a really good recommendation. The only draw back was that the food took a long time to come out, even though the dining room wasn’t very full. We would definitely come back.More infoSorrentino's DowntownPrice: Expensive• Italian• Edmonton•4.8

- DDavidEdmonton / Northern Alberta •3 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoAs always, the service was outstanding. You have excellent waiters and other staff. My wife's Prime Rib was not the greatest. It was good, she said, but it rapidly lost its heat and had lot of fat and grizzle on it. She generally orders the steak and she will again next time we are there. The mushroom soup and my pasta dish were truly outstanding. Delcious. I think your prices have gone up, and what you charge for a 5 oz glass of wine is simply ridiculous. My wife passed on wine, given what you are charging for it. What really compromised the visit for me was the ridiculous "elevator music" that is played in the background. This is not the first time I have complained about this, and for one of Edmonton's finest ,classiest hotel restaurants to play muzak throughout an expensive meal really detracts from the overall experience. Can you not do better?? Some light classical? Even some "smoky jazz", with the volume turned down? Another thing. I realize business is business, and money talks. But it there no way you can implement an even basic dress code? ( i.e. no ball caps or toques while dining). While the days when I would wear a jacket and tie to your restaurant might be behind me I found that sitting near patrons who would look more in place at a truck stop did make the evening's experience less than stellar. Little things, I guess, and half the world is starving. But you asked.......More infoHarvest Room - Fairmont Hotel MacdonaldPrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Edmonton•4.4
