Originally known as Phoebe's Garden Café, the restaurant has a long and colorful history in Syracuse. Local lore claims that the building was originally a brothel, and Phoebe was its madam. In the summer of 2004, Phoebe's experienced a refreshing makeover with a bright new look in the atrium dining room with fresh paint, new upholstery, and artwork. The coffee lounge also opened that year, and it became an instant hit with the surrounding university and business crowd. Those changes also warranted a new name to reflect the updated attitude and ambiance: Phoebe's Restaurant and Coffee Lounge. Classic elements of Phoebe's remain untouched—the French onion soup and enticing crème brulee, for example, but other menu items change seasonally. It is a true hidden gem! Tucked away inside the NYS Fairgrounds it is actually more convenient since there's ample parking and pretty much in a secured area. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly hostess and sat down at a table that is surely a delight for two since it's larger than the average. Food was impeccable and the drinks were spot on. Our server Adam was very pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend Daniella's if you want a more private intimate gathering without the hassle of traffic.

Never thought to go to Dave and Busters because I dont really go to syracuse if I'm not going for a specific purpose, we decided to take an impromptu trip to have dinner and play some games. Get the kids out of the house. It was so much fun!!!! Food was delicious. Games were fun. Staff was incredible. Worth every penny. I definitely recommend for anyone. We were a little on the pricy side but there were 4 of us. There packages were wallet friendy as was the meal.
