Always wonderful! Staff is professional and friendly. Caesar salad is the best I’ve ever had. I always look forward to my favorite Calamari piccata dish when we go there.

I have to give Neumanali a stellar review, but I almost hate to do so because it’s one of those hidden gems that you want to keep secret so you can kind of keep it for yourself. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time and unfortunately had to cancel a prior reservation due to an unforeseen event. This time around, we were able to keep our reservation and were so glad to get to experience this fantastic restaurant in downtown Hayward. We drove out from San Ramon and I can assure you it is worth driving a lot further for. The service from the one man who was holding down the entire serving area by himself was excellent. The ambience and noise level were great; it was easy to have a conversation at our table, yet there was still some nice music in the background. The food was absolutely delicious. (Highly recommend the prosciutto wrapped prawns as an appetizer). We were also surprised to see a reasonably priced wine list which included some top-notch wines. I had a house salad, very tasty, and we both had salmon which was cooked to perfection. We ended the meal with the house bread pudding, which was just the right amount of moist. Overall, a really great experience. To provide a balanced review, if there is any negative, it is the tight parking in the back, but what can you do about that? Just be prepared for it.

Came for my son’s 10th bday. The food and service was fantastic!! They really made his day special. He had his “best meal ever” and we all really enjoyed the evening. Got the ribeye steak, salmon, beet salad, pepperoni pizza. All delicious. Brussels were killer!!

Thank you to waitperson Nicole for great service. The cheese bread was too well toasted.

Bartender Marco was our capable & enthusiastic server as our party of 2 dined at corner seats of the bar. We loved our Manhattan & Whiskey Sour. We opted to order one item at a time & share. Savory Bacon Donuts are a must to start. We went whole hog that night by also indulging in the Rolled Pork Belly on Peasant Rice with Pea Shoots (huge serving). Also had the Oxtail with Grits. Loved it all. Next time plan to have seafood & save room for dessert donuts.
