- JJaneIndiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoActually tried to send the following public note to Rohr's. However, after writing the note (see below) the website screen would NOT allow me to click on Next. Only way I could get it to turn red/be usable was to write in this space. * Our server was excellent! * We question the choice of "background" music and its type for a restaurant such as Rohr's. Although my hearing is so poor, I could not hear it, my guest has excellent hearing. She found the volume and choice of music annoying and asked to have the volume reduced, which it was. And actually my guests last week had the same comments but did not ask to have volume reduced. A comment to consider? Management's choice.More infoRohr’sPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• South Bend•4.8
- SSamuelIndiana •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoProbably my new favorite restaurant in South Bend. Great location, right on the river, walking distance to the Morris, and with a spacious (and unexpected) parking lot. Food was great. We had: - Complimentary bread was excellent, served with warm whipped butter. - Oysters were pretty much what you expect, with an excellent cocktail sauce. - Wedge salad was overall very good, and the bacon absolutely outstanding. - Buratta "salad" was essentially bruschetta, and was excellent. - Grilled lobster frites -- lobster was excellently cooked, and fries were perfectly salted and very crisp. -- A5 Myazaki wagyu ribeye cap -- this is the best deal on the menu. $40-60/oz at other places, and $19/oz here, the best deal you'll ever get; it was lightly salted and simply seared -- impossible to screw up, and the best steak I've ever had. -- Mashed potatoes were very high quality, very buttery. -- Chocolate layered cake was delicious, and all the desserts are prepared in-house by the pastry chef. Overall a fabulous dining experience, up to the standard of more expensive restaurants in much larger cities.More infoCascadePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• South Bend•4.8
- JJessicaIndiana •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025My husband and I had a nice time at Planks! The food was delicious. I had the smash burger with truffle fries. I highly recommend getting the onion aioli to dip the fries in, you won't be disappointed. The cocktails were very good as well. The Smokey Old Fashioned and Tuscan Lemon Drop were our favorites. Top shelf and Generous with the booze without being too boozey 💁♀️More infoPlank's TavernPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• St Joseph•4.4

Food was so good, Blackened catfish!!! Yum.More infoBistro on the Boulevard - Saint JosephPrice: Moderate• American• St Joseph•4.8
- AGAnthonyGDetroit / Eastern Michigan •28 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 31, 2024Food was excellent. Portions a bit too large for me. Two large pork chops didn’t leave a lot of room for sides as we also had the meatball appetizer.More infoPapa Vino's - St. Joseph Italian KitchenPrice: Moderate• Italian• St Joseph•4.5
