- JJONVIPIowa •31 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoI got the item of the month, the soup flights. The soups are all very good, but the bread was not toasted like it has been in the past. The steak frites, the steak was cooked perfectly to order, but the fries were pretty bland and unremarkable. The beer was delicious, the service was fine, the guy was helpful but not remarkably friendly. The $50 food credit. I had covered my bill, and because of that I will be backMore info35 Brew StreetPrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Northwood•3.9
- SSusanIowa •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024It was big city great! There were three in our party and we each had different starters. Caesar salad, wedge salad and French onion soup which were all fabulous with such presentation! Our main entrees were also a work of art. I had sea bass in a chanterelle sauce, my husband had duck and our son had venison. The venison was medium well and was ordered medium rare but that could have been a misunderstanding. It was delicious anyway. The chef walked around to all tables checking on our food. We had dessert of molten lava cake with ice cream and a crème brûlée. All were wonderful. We had not been here before but will definitely return.More infoThe SurfsidePrice: Moderate• American• Clear Lake•4.5

- JjosephSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews4.0Dined on Aug 12, 2024Overall enjoyed our time. The value is there (this is Iowa, after all) and the quality was OK. Flavors felt a bit dumbed down (but, again, this is Iowa.) The TV above the bar was kinda distracting from the booth we were seated in. My expectations were met and I will be back.More infoPrime n WinePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Mason City•4.3
