Le George Public House est la réincarnation victorienne d'un café du XVe siècle situé à l'angle des rues Strand Street et Fleet Street, directement en face de la Cour royale de justice à l'architecture spectaculaire et à 10 minutes de marche du West End. À l'automne 2014, le bar du rez-de-chaussée et la salle à manger du George installée au premier étage, ont fait l'objet d'importants travaux de rénovation. Cet établissement a notamment créé le restaurant élégant et sophistiqué The Pig and Goose ainsi que la salle à manger privée Horace Walpole. Les propriétaires ont soigneusement conservé les éléments d'origine de ce pub historique et ont admirablement marqué le George Public House de leur empreinte tout en maintenant une atmosphère traditionnelle dans l'ensemble des locaux. Le restaurant flambant neuf Pig & Goose situé à l'étage du George est ouvert du lundi au samedi et propose un menu britannique moderne et alléchant, élaboré uniquement avec les meilleurs produits locaux de saison.
