- DDawnGreater Boston •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe pre-Christmas atmosphere was nothing short of magical with twinkling lights on the toasty porch. Service was flawless and unhurried. Food was also very good, especially the Mac & cheese with short ribs.More infoSeaport GrillePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Gloucester•4.7
- PPhilGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMM1 is one of our favorite restaurants, mostly in the summer going by boat. Last night we drove and had an EXCELLENT dinner. Grilled swordfish with lobster risotto and the beef tenderloin with mashed/smashed twice baked potato were both amazing! Great food, great service as always.More infoMile Marker One RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Gloucester•4.6
- GGayleVIPGreater Boston •39 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoBeauport is the perfect place for a holiday celebration! It’s so beautifully decorated and festive, there is such a positive vibe and everyone is in such a happy mood! Jingle Bar was in full motion, love the relocation to the back of the lobby, so intimate and magical! We had dinner in 1606, needed a little more quiet time together and it was perfect! Our server was excellent, dinners were delicious (hard to choose next up with the new menu, cocktails, and food - so many great options! We all agree that a part of lobster bisque is the best around, including Boston! The burgers and pizzas are always a great choice, and scallops were delicious too! The restaurant, bar, lobby, and Jingle Bar wereall crowded, it was wonderful to see so many people out celebrating the holidays! The staffing was proportionate, never oh wait and the visibility of management ensuring everyone was being taken care of and enjoying themselves and the food or something. You don’t see everywhere! Also, it was nice to receive a personal check in from Chef Jon, wanting to be sure everything was as we liked it…and we loved everything! Looking forward to our friend event on Friday night, 14 of us will celebrate and enjoy a delicious and special meal together in the private dining room!More info1606 Restaurant and Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• American• Gloucester•4.7

- SSally AnnGreater Boston •11 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI eat out at least 2 or 3 times a week. Pellana stands out for several reasons. From the minute you walk in the staff is friendly, and relaxed. They obviously want you to have a good experience. The setting is definitely upscale . Although I have seen people in casual clothes, I feel like it's a place that warrants a little "dressing up". This is just my opinion, not theirs. I ordered a glass of wine. I had ordered that same wine at another restaurant recently. Although the price per glass was the same, Pellana had a much more generous pour. For lunch, I ordered a steak tenderloin , medium rare, on a bed of lettuce and tomato and balsamic. It came exactly as ordered. It is a perfect meal especially for those who want to avoid carbs. We did not order dessert but we ordered a coffee and a tea. Both of these came in small pots and were perfect.More infoPellana SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Peabody•4.8
