We celebrated my wife’s 60th Birthday last night at Jamie Oliver’s restaurant in Covent Garden. What a lovely restaurant and the food was perfect. The champagne I pre ordered was waiting at our table for us and Pritti looked after us all evening, she was superb. On arrival we had a drink at the bar and Rafaell and Marcelo were excellent and made us feel really welcome. We could not fault the restaurant and will definitely return. The restaurant is really well run , congratulations to the General Manager Sali who we had a great conversation with and the chef who we met when leaving.. Thank you everyone for making my wife’s Birthday so special.

We had a fabulous lunch at the Savoy Grill , always eat here if we are in London ….food was excellent as usual, the young sommelier did an outstanding job with wine selection the only issue was a restriction on our table normally as a four person sitting the restaurant allows you 2 1/2 hours but yesterday we where told 2 hours so hence the rating on service . Thierry was as charming and attentive as usual .

A really excellent lunch (only served from 3pm ... at least on a Monday. The choice of food is modest but really interesting and tasty. Service was warm and swift. The lamb dish (Rogan Josh?) was succulent and delicious. Make sure to book.
