The quality of a dining experience starts at the top. Management always gets blamed when things don’t go right, and management should get the kudos when it all goes well. We had a great experience on Christmas day. A bit busy so it seemed to take a bit longer than I thought. But they let us know our food was coming soon. Appetizers made it pretty fast. It was worth the wait for the main entree though. The signature dish was excellent.

The food here is consistently outstanding. We love the tempura green beans and bacon wrapped dates as appetizers. This time we tried the short rib gnocchi and the potato crusted petrale sole. Both were delicious! The heirloom tomato salad was amazing. My husband has a hard time passing up the meatloaf. Of course, the coconut cream pie for dessert is a must.

Lavender's patio is the place to dine in La Quinta, CA. The atmosphere is so special, with live music and ample heating. The menu is creative and delicious and the service attentive. Highly recommended.

When we arrived for our reservation, we were told that they no longer use Open Table for reservations. Furthermore, they were not open for dinner that night. They did accommodate us in the bar and ordered off the bar menu… Bottom line…call the restaurant directly for reservations!
