- JJimVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •43 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoBourbons is a good place to have a fine meal. Try the fig, pear, and blue cheese pizza. It is excellent. Service is attentive without being overbearing. The only downside is that it’s very loud. That said, have a great dining experience!More infoBourbonsPrice: Moderate• Regional American (Contemporary Southern)• Brighton•4.7

- JJeremyDetroit / Eastern Michigan •6 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAny night out to Ciao Amici's is amazing. My wife and I missed going valentine's weekend due to a snow storm, and made a night of it last night instead. The place was packed by 6:30pm on a Friday, and a bit noisy but not enough that you couldn't hear each other. The food is always amazing. I tried something new - the Tortellini Diablo. With a name like "diablo," I should have known better - but it was very spicy! I order Thai food "medium", and this was hotter than that. But it had amazing flavor. My wife's fried fish was wonderfully seasoned - not just battered and fried. Our server, Larry, was just excellent. I swear we've had him before - and we don't make it to Ciao Amici's often, which seems to indicate they treat their staff well enough there's no turnover if someone's still there after a year or more! He checked on us and just took care of things and was friendly with suggestions and comments. My only complaint - and if you haven't been for awhile - is that parking is scarce. Brighton has grown over the years, and business appears to be good! But the parking lot next to the restaurant has construction installing a building, losing the 30 or so parking spots. On a Friday night in downtown Brighton, we had to walk from North Street to the restaurant and were lucky to get that last spot as someone was pulling out. Plan an extra 10 minutes or so if you're out around 5:30ish on Fridays, as the daytime crowd leaves and the dinner rush arrives. There were more parking spots free when we left around 6:45. Hopefully that helps! If you're looking for great Italian food, you have to go here.More infoCiao Amici'sPrice: Moderate• Italian• Brighton•4.8
