- JJoshuaPhoenix / Arizona •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoPriced too high for the quality of the food and menu options. Attempting to be a quaint romantic spot but missing the target. Appetizer special that was offered was baked Brie with brucetta and sides like a charcuterie board but what was received was an entire block of Brie with 4 little slices of bread then pieces of Jared artichoke, pickles and okra with pickled onion and balls of beets. Really missed the target as it was way too much cheese for the items that you would use Brie on and the sides did play well with the dish. Main dish special was steak and lobster which the flavor and presentation was good. We shared the meal but really designed for one so no qualm there but for $99 I would have expected a better dish like a large lobster tail vs a full lobster that I have to fight through to get the meat. Overall seemed like a poorly creative chef designed a sloppy menu.More infoVillage ChophousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Sedona•4.7
- LLoriTampa / Central Florida West •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoExceeded expectations. The food (entrees and dessert) was phenomenal, and set against the backdrop of the beautiful Sedona canyons. Our server, Sammi, was fun, friendly and had great recommendations. The heaters and blankets made our preferred outdoor seating that much better. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone!More infoSaltrock Southwest KitchenPrice: Moderate• Regional American (Southwestern)• Sedona•4.5
- JJackNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoA wonderful meal servers by a gracious staff that worked so well together to enhance our dining experience. So many menu choices with explanations by our waiter that made it easier to choose. A very nice wine list with many by the glass options, I started with the lobster bisque , very rich and loaded with lobster meat. For our entrees my wife ordered the Wagyu beef cheeks (which I got to taste) - like nothing we have ever had before. So tender and complemented with the vanilla reduced beef broth that the cheeks were cooked in was a real tase treat. My steak was done just like I like it and the beef was so tender. All this was topped off by their rich. And marvelous chocolate soufflé all served with elegance. Overall an incredible dining experience which if we ever get to Sedona again we will book a meal at Rene’s.More infoRene at TlaquepaquePrice: Very Expensive• French• Sedona•4.7
