Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. My husband and I chose Sullivan's for his birthday dinner. Overall, everything was great! Our server was attentive, helpful and kind. My husband said that his steak was a bit too grisley but tasty. My Lobster Bisque soup was excellent! The birthday "boy" got to choose a dessert "on-the-house," which was also yummy. It just took WAY too long for it to arrive! That is the only complaint. Very nice restaurant but definitly on the high end price wise!

We loved BATA. Our excellent server gave us advice on how to order from the menu - small plates, shared with each other, great suggestions and explanations of the dishes themselves. Everything was delicious. The interior was lovely and even though the space has high ceilings, it wasn't too noisy for us to hear each other. Highly recommend.
