Restaurants near The Waterside Inn

I love Snug Harbour, and it has been a great place to celebrate my birthday. Last year I had an amazing time. However, this year… I booked over three weeks in advance because I wanted to have the same setup as last year, by the fireplace. I sent a message which was not replied to, I sent another one and had a response that they would do their best to accommodate. We were not seated by the fireplace… Then all the food was lukewarm, the rice was cold. The only person with hot food was the one who ordered pasta. We came in at 8:15 and after spending lots on money on appetizers, dinner, dessert and wine we were rushed out at 10:00pm… I understand you close but as someone who worked in the service industry I personally would not rush out such a table right away… in my view we could have had grace until 10:30. As a side petty note, it was odd to receive ice cream and not a slice of cake for my birthday. But I digress. Moreover, I was slightly disappointed on my birthday this year, in comparison to other times I have come and had a great experience.

Posta is a place to be if you want delicious dinner with a quiet ambiance. Orso boco is highly recommended

The food was amazing as well as the service! Will definitely be back to try out their dinner menu.
