- JjeffreyVirginia •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a lovely Birthday Dinner on the 21st. Our weight person was terrific and attentive. Sadly we were the one and only customers for a six thirty seating. I know that Merrior is always crowded in the summer, but people need to know it is quiet and extremely enjoyable in the winter as well. We sat on the porch and it was warm and cozy.More infoMerroirPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Topping•4.7
- LLamiWashington, D.C. Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe restaurant from the outside appears unobtrusive and understated but once you enter the glass doors, you enter a charming space. Lots of character, elegant French country. We were immediately welcomed by a friendly host and because one had the sense of being in France I was taken aback when he spoke with a southern accent! Too funny. Our table was in a room with a large fireplace and the seats were cushioned and extremely comfortable. Noise level low to moderate. Our server Breanna was upbeat, had a great sense of humor and checked on our table frequently. The service was professional, our food came out in a timely manner and we never felt rushed. The menu was exceptional and for the quality, very reasonably priced. Appetizers averaged $10-15, entree $35-50 and dessert $10-15. A couple of outliers on the higher end such as the $30 foie gras starter and the $65 beef tenderloin seared with foie gras in a truffle port wine reduction. The entrees included a soup or salad and our portions were decent. A glass of brut rose champagne $12 and 12 oz of Caymus cab. $39. Other 6-12oz wines much cheaper. The manager came over to our table and spoke with us. She was charming. The chef.she told us is from Normandy which comes as no surprise as the meal was superbe. We were a party of six and every plate I noticed was completely clean at the end— not a drop leftover. I highly recommend this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, or just to have excellent French food in a comfortable warm and inviting setting. Would go back again and again!More infoLe Yaca - WilliamsburgPrice: Expensive• French• Williamsburg•4.9
- VVictoriaVirginia •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy friends and I had a wonderful experience on Tuesday 17th. I have never had a bad meal at The Office. Had a so-so bruschetta once years ago but my experiences have for the most part been wonderful. Thank you so much - I plan on many more visits. Service, drinks, food, all top notch. All four of us cleaned our plates! The quantity of the servings was right on par. Bravo! Can’t wait to come back!More infoSalt and MeadowPrice: Expensive• American• Irvington•4.7
- AAaronVirginia •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 8, 2024We were going to see a movie at Compass Entertainment which is where the Meridian restaurant is located inside. We decided to eat there so we could just walk around the corner to the movie. The service was great, the food was very good and the prices very reasonable. It is not an extensive menu but there should be something on it for everyone to enjoy.More infoMeridian RestaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Irvington•4.3
