Restaurants near Three College Observatory

We thoroughly enjoyed dining at GVG when we get the chance. Although we live 40 minutes away it is worth the drive & never disappoints. All the staff are courteous & the food is always outstanding. The dining space & bar area evoke old world elegance & coziness. We enjoy the seasonal menu offerings as well as the timeless favorites. Such a great place to dine with out of town guests. Highly recommend!

Food portion sizes were less than normal and service was a little slow, but always a nice friendly place.

great experience always trying to try new restaurants and new experiences. Tried their gin and tonic; tuna tartare appetizer; followed by the Cesar salad with anchovies; and followed by the duck bao buns. I had all appetizers but the meal was so satisfying. Finished off with coconut cake for dessert!!!!

The food here is always reliably good and was on my visit. Beet and Brussels salad with goat cheese was delicious. The salmon I ordered with it (add protein) was good but it was not served as a cohesive dish. I expected it to be served on top of the salad vs on a separate plate and with more seasoning. Service was attentive. I’ll. Be back.

Everything was great, atmosphere and food were amazing- my only reason for 3 stars with service was I wish our server would have come by to table more often I seemed to keep looking for her so more drinks could be ordered or waiting on check. Maybe she didn’t want to disturb us while we were eating. We didn’t want to be late for our show. She was very pleasant and food and drinks came quickly after ordering. We definitely will be coming back regardless! Enjoyed the restaurant very much!
