Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant’s entrance, a well-curated modern-day pawn shop replete with a saxophone, boom­box, quirky artifacts, vintage treasures, and an eclectic array of “one-off” pieces of jewelry.     Everything was absolutely amazing. Our waiter was so accommodating and understanding. The food was incredible. The fish was fresh and beautifully plated. The overall ambiance of the restaurant makes you feel as though you are dining in a movie. I recommend booking a dinner reservation. The ambient lighting, jazz music, and magical views of the cityscape create an enchanting, and intimate feel hard to replicate!

    This is one of our favorite places. The oysters were amazing. We ordered a dozen and had to go ahead and order an extra half dozen. Great champagne options at amazing prices! Mussels, fantastic! The fries were also perfect. Dip them in the broth. Delicious. The atmosphere is also great. Low lighting, great music. It was our Valentine Dinner but we went on Saturday. Perfect date night.

    The food is amazing, the view spectacular and the service attentive a courteous. Bob the Sommelier was extremley knowledgeable and considerate of our requirements. Alex, our host, was courteous with the right touch of humour. All of the staff professional and hosted us exceptionally well. An expensive but a priceless experience.

    Amazing! The food was so good and fresh. Servers were attentive and kind. We came to check this restaurant out from Connecticut and it did not disappoint. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.
