Caroline's Table is a unique farm to table restaurant in the heart of the Eastern Shore. Chef Ken Zellers sources locally grown and harvested seafood, proteins and vegetables and works magic to elevate them into a memorable dining experience. The restaurant is housed in a historic building that has been lovingly restored. It was formally the town doctors house with his office in a small adjacent building. My husband & I were celebrating our anniversary & wanted to go someplace special. We knew that Bas Rouge was a James Beard winning restaurant & decided to go there. And was it worth it! The whole experience was absolutely wonderful….each course was delicious; incredible service; a relaxing atmosphere where you can actually talk to each other without shouting; a little table to place my purse so that it didn’t have to be on the floor; even a doggie bag with more treats! We will definitely be back!

We had the special for the evening. The chicken was very good; however, the potatoes were not thoroughly cooked and had hard undercooked pieces in the mash. Service by Patty was excellent.
