- JJenniferPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoTook my mom and husband to Afternoon Tea for a holiday celebration and it was great. The restaurant confirmed with me three times that they could accommodate my mom's food allergy ahead of time and her choices were excellent. The service and ambiance were outstanding and the food was delicious. My one wish is that it were just a bit quieter for conversation, but the noise level was still reasonable for a full restaurant. We ill definitely return for Afternoon Tea and I hope they consider offering it year round.More infoGracie's - PortlandPrice: Moderate• Regional American (Northwest)• SW Portland•4.4
- EEllisSeattle / Eastern Washington •12 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoJanken was such an incredible experience. The atmosphere was incredible, the service was excellent, and above all, the food was amazing. I can say with certainty that I've never had better sushi. The quality of ingredients, the unique elements and the taste of everything was beyond any other sushi I've had before. The dynamite roll and the seared salmon nagiri were incredible. The cocktails were amazing, the tartare was amazing, frankly everything was amazing. But the stand out was most certainly the black cod. I'm used to cod being a fairly common, mediocre fish. But this dish was, in a word, sublime. A tremendous bomb of umami flavor, and yet as delicate and pleasing as any high quality halibut. My wife and I were beyond impressed, and this is now in my top 3 restaurants of all time. We will be back.More infoJankenPrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Pearl District•4.8
- MMonicaPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoI could not recommend Mediterranean Exploration Company enough! Everything we ate was 11/10. We also sat at the counter and watched the chefs, which was incredible. Truly one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had and we will definitely be returning to try all of the foods that we didn’t get to try. Highly recommend the crispy lamb hummus with pita and spiced carrots dishes. Falafel and grilled octopus dishes were also delicious!More infoMediterranean Exploration CompanyPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• NW Portland•4.8
- JJasonPortland / Oregon •3 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024The place has a good atmosphere. The service is great, They are attentive without being obtrusive a hard balance to strike. The food is good. The value at happy hour was quite good. Really do my wife and I finish dinner at around $50 and that was with 2 ciders. It was a perfect place to have dinner being only a mile from the Moda center where we saw a concert that night. If you are looking for a place to eat that is close to event centers this is a great option.More infoToroPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Pearl District•4
