All food was delicious and the service was great!

Cedar Creek Inn Brea is a wonderful establishment for everyone who wants to enjoy a meal in a lovely, quietly elegant dining environment. The wait staff was professional and personable. They regularly checked on our table to ensure that the food was delicious as anticipated and to refill our beverages. Today we had clam chowder, fish and chips. Friends at an adjoining table had roast beef dip sandwiches au jus. Everything was delicious! We are looking forward to going there again soon!

The hostess wasn’t very welcoming, but everyone else was super friendly! Including the man who seated us and the man who cleared our dishes. Our server Cameron was excellent! He was attentive, always smiling, and super nice to my elderly parents and my toddler. The food was excellent and a great value for the prime rib special. Everyone’s meat was cooked correctly as we each had requested different temps. We requested food for our toddler that was not on the kids menu (different sauce) and they were accommodating. We had to be in the ballroom due to the outside air quality, which we appreciated, so it was different than being in the typical dining room but it was fine. We can’t wait to come back!

As always, we were greeted warmly, we were quickly seated in a (requested) booth. We usually start with the amazing rice balls, (I can’t spell or pronounce the word). My dining partner, who loves scallops, very much enjoyed the delicious risotto that comes with the scallops. I ordered a new dish, for me, I had the appetizer of clams and mussels. I’m sure I didn’t carefully read the menu, and was surprised to find that the dish was very tomato forward. I prefer lighter sauces. I ate the clams and mussels and left an almost full dish of tomato. I didn’t send it back because I thought it was my error in ordering. They have been very accommodating in the past when there had been a concern about an order. The servers are friendly and pleasant and appear to enjoy working there. Last night, our service was less attentive, I think it may have been because we were in a corner booth and maybe more difficult to observe. I think it was an “one off” because service is usually on point. This remains one of our favorite restaurants!

My daughter and I went to the restaurant to celebrate her engagement after buying her wedding dress. Everything was wonderful. She loved the food and really enjoyed the bar of salads and specialties. The waiter was so nice and offered as a free dessert in honor of her engagement and wrote congratulations on the plate. It was just beautiful.
