- BBenIndiana •1 review5.0Dined todaySt. Elmo's Steak House is an absolute gem in the heart of Indianapolis, and it has become my go-to destination for an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an ambiance that perfectly balances elegance and warmth, making it an ideal spot for any special occasion. I recently celebrated my 3-year anniversary at St. Elmo's, and it was nothing short of magical. The staff went above and beyond to make our evening special, from the personalized service to the thoughtful touches that made us feel truly valued as guests. The attention to detail is impeccable, and it's clear that the team at St. Elmo's takes great pride in creating a memorable experience for every diner. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the lamb. I have dined at many steakhouses, but St. Elmo's lamb is in a league of its own. The lamb is cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a flavor that is simply out of this world. Each bite is a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs, who have mastered the art of preparing this exquisite dish. The seasoning is spot-on, enhancing the natural richness of the lamb without overpowering it. It's a dish that I find myself craving time and time again, and it's the reason I will always return to St. Elmo's. In addition to the lamb, the menu at St. Elmo's offers a wide array of delectable options, from succulent steaks to fresh seafood, ensuring that there is something for everyone. The sides and appetizers are equally impressive, with the famous shrimp cocktail being a must-try. The wine list is extensive, featuring a curated selection of wines that perfectly complement the menu. The atmosphere at St. Elmo's is both sophisticated and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a romantic dinner, a celebratory meal, or even a casual night out. The decor is classic and timeless, with rich wood accents and soft lighting that create a cozy yet upscale vibe. The service is top-notch, with attentive and knowMore infoSt. Elmo Steak HousePrice: Expensive• Steak• Downtown Indy•4.8
- NNikkiIndiana •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFrom the moment we walked in, to the time we left, everything was perfection. The ambiance is incredible. The beautiful lighting, big windows looking out onto the city, the comfortable leather booth seating, and striking decor- everything around us felt special. The drinks were spot on, with a unique espresso martini. And the food, WOW! Everyone’s meal was phenomenal. My pork chop was perfectly prepared, my husband had the lamb and gave it a 10/10. Our friends had the dry aged Ribeye and Chicken dish and they were both impressed. Our server Ben never missed a beat and helped guide us through the menu. I highly recommend dining at Commission Row as soon and as often as you can! Oh, and don’t forget to stop downstairs at Mel’s Speakeasy for a drink! Such a cool and swanky vibe down there with an eclectic list of drinks to choose from!More infoCommission RowPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown Indy•4.8
- KKendraIndiana •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe splurge once a year to come here and it never disappoints. It’s not super fancy so we don’t feel out of place, but it’s a very nice place for a special date night. The food and drinks are always delicious. This visit I got the filet which was *chefs kiss* as always, but the brussel sprouts were where the meal really shined. The toasted ravioli appetizer was perfect. My husband loves the shrimp cocktail, with the signature famous cocktail sauce they share with their sister restaurant St. Elmo’s. If you’ve somehow never tried this gem, do yourself a favor and go. Worth every penny.More infoHarry & Izzy's - DowntownPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Downtown Indy•4.7
- SScottIndiana •19 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFriday night dinner. Sat in the bar area. Sarah was our very attentive server. Filet for myself and Chicken Caesar salad for the date. We added the mac and cheese (a MUST!) and the truffle wedges. All items were great! Filet was cooked perfectly to medium. Tender. Great flavor and not overseasoned. Top quality meat. One of the few steakhouses where you get what you pay for. Worth it every time! Phenomenal wine list, both by the glass and by the bottle. One of the few places in town with a) a great wine selection; and b) reasonably priced wines by the glass. Desert menu was uninspiring (maybe because we were full?), but you might enjoy some of the offerings. Shout out to Steven, the busser (I believe) for being engaging and friendly with us. He was multi-tasking like crazy, and doing so while being nice. Love Tony’s. My favorite steakhouse in town. Great people work for great people, and you’ll more than likely find a top notch experience here.More infoTony's of IndianapolisPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown Indy•4.8
- RRoger1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI am very pleased with my dining experience. The food quality and preparation thereof, with the exception of poultry, was outstanding. As to the poultry, it was very, very dry and I declined subsequent offerings. The beef, lamb and pork were outstanding, as were all side dishes. As to service, the wait staff was equally outstanding. Very, very attentive. As a customer, I found their initial attempt to upsell somewhat excessive. Were I ownership, however, I would have been quite pleased with their attempts and would reward them accordingly. Will I return? Certainly so.More infoFogo de Chao - IndianapolisPrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Downtown Indy•4.4
