Westreme restaurant in Mellieha designed to entertain the whole family for lunch and dinner in a bright space with breathtaking views of Mellieha Bay. The variety of food available makes sure that both parents and kids get to enjoy their meal in a welcoming environment. Whilst making sure all pizza lovers are happy we have also created dishes that will enrich your meal. These include a selection of pastas and meats. A dedicated healthy menu for kids was also developed. The restaurant is also equipped with a dedicated area for children to entertain themselves safely. Our name is derived from the historically significant Westreme Battery that is located just around the corner. Built by the Order of St. John in 1715, this was actually the first line of defence breached by the French invaders in 1798. Over the years, the building was modified, restored and adapted for different uses. Today, only parts of it remain standing as a lasting testament to its illustrious past.

Paranga is a seaside restaurant, set on teak decking above the rippling Mediterranean Sea. We are a Italian restaurant situated in Mellieha. Since Mellieha is a small town which derives its name from the Arabic word for salt, we don’t think we could have found a more fitting area. The quaint town is an ideal location for a variety of reasons – no less for its tourist attractions. And what’s better than a cosy environment accompanied by food of outstanding value after a day at the beach? Not to toot our own horn, but our answer would be: not much. Staying true to our typical Italian demeanor, we always provide a service with a smile. The intimate atmosphere in our restaurant is appreciated by a variety of patrons looking for an authentic experience, and we do our best to be accommodating to families.

Nous connaissions le principe de ce restaurant pour l’avoir testé en France. Nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à communiquer avec le serveur qui ne comprenait pas notre demande malgré le fait que mon mari parle très bien anglais. Lorsque le serveur est venu débarrasser, mon mari n’était pas à table à ce moment là, je lui ai dit qu’il n’avait pas fini son assiette, le serveur a quand même enlevé son plat (non fini). J’ai tenté de lui dire de remettre son assiette mais il n’a pas eu l’air de comprendre. Payer un plat non fini alors que mon mari avait encore faim c’est limite. Nous n’avons pas pris la peine de prendre de dessert au vu du service. Le rapport qualité prix est cher. C’est dommage car ce restaurant offre un cadre unique et innovant mais certains points nuisent à la réputation de cet établissement.
