Restaurants near Valley Inn - Pine Mountain

Our server, Iverson, was fantastic. Very personable and attentive. The food was great, as always. The seating was done a little awkwardly. It was a very busy holiday, and they were doing their absolute best, so kudos to their turnaround time on tables, the time it took from ordering to receiving food and drinks, and when our check was delivered and run. My only complaint was the specialty cocktail. It used a very inexpensive champagne, and I'm not bougie by any stretch, but it had the aftertaste of a cheaper champagne, and it had some strawberry puree and that was basically it. Their other cocktails are pretty amazing, so I was bummed this one seemed so out of the ordinary. Otherwise, an outstanding experience as always.

Ant/Dee and crew unquestionably provide the most consistent fine dining experience south of ATL. Wife has the lobster thermidor (no problem substituting scallops for shrimp) and I had the big city pasta ... both outstanding as always. IF you want a terrific night out without dealing with the hassle of ATL, GA Shrimp is the obvious choice - diverse menu, strong wine/beer/cocktail selections and friendly/attentive service.

Everything was wonderful, from the complementary valet parking to the service at the restaurant and the food. We’ll definitely return here.

We wanted to eat somewhere new. I expected a more "restaurant" feel, but it wasn't terrible since it was a slow night. I could not imagine eating there if it was busy (with the current setup). Very limited menu (and was out of the dish I really wanted, the Crispy Smoked Chicken. It is strange to have to order and pay for sides separately (not included in meals, especially for the prices) We ordered the following: Redfish Scarlett - was really good. Cream Corn as side. Bone-In Berkshire Pork Chop - (a little dry, could have been cooked a little less)with broccolini Crispy Brussels appetizer - (a little spicy for my taste, but still really good). Chattahoochee River Bread - a little grainy (like corn meal) and a sweetened butter. Wasn't good enough to take the leftover pieces home with us. Broccoli cheese soup - probably best we've had in town. We might go back to try some other items from the menu, but definitely not if they are busy as seating is lacking.

Service was excellent! Our server answered all our questions and even offered suggestions. The food was very tasty! We were all pleased with our dining experience!
