Restaurants near Valley Park Arena

We are repeat customers over the last 10 years. Not been here since the pandemic of 2019. They are open for breakfast & dinner only since that time and we could not fit this nice Italian restaurant into our schedules. Yesterday I decided to go again. No problem securing a reservation on line 5 hours ahead. We found the place cosy & welcoming. Promptly taken to the reserved seats and provided with menus. Very professional as expected . I ordered my Riesling & Focaccia, Calamari Fritti & the main dish of Lobster Ravioli. My wife ordered the Margherita Piazza ( many times before as well ). Drinks & food arrived in good time & the main course came later, without being rushed. Very appreciative that they let you eat the antipasti leisurely. When my Lobster Ravioli came I found that it was lukewarm. I DID not complain and ate the whole thing. It WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE TO EAT FOOD HOT. At the end I told the waitress and she apologized & would pass on the message to the chef. They felt bad & offered us a free dessert( cheesecake ). It shows they CARE & I left satisfied. SET HIGH STANDARD for the restaurant business. I don't usually write reviews. This time I want to acknowledge their efforts. AND I HOPE THE CHEF WILL SERVE THE FOOD HOT in the future, as they should be. I HATE LUKEWARM food.

How could you not give 5 stars. I've never had an experience at The Keg that was below expectation. The staff at The Keg are always amazing going that extra mile for you. A special thanks to our server PEI Kaylee. You belong to the group of elite individuals who are a standout from the rest. You made us feel like we were the only ones there. Your attention and kindness did not go unnoticed. See you all very soon. Tim

Very quick and efficient, great service, delicious food!

There were kids there running around and a baby crying every few minutes. Milestones has no control over someone’s kids or kids being there but that was our first time out in months and we just wanted to get away from the kids but then had to hear kids lol no biggie but just a downer lol

Everything was excellent from the food and quality, to the excellent service we received!
