Restaurants near Waldron Cutting

Haven’t been to this pub for a long time but was super… food was good and service with a smile. Would go back for sure… only thing was It wasn’t very warm. Needed the fire lit as it was cold and miserable outside… and a little chilly in the room. But overall good! 😊

It was a wonderful evening and the food and service fantastic . The only disappointment came from my 18 yo daughter , her friend and my son who is older were ID checked and because they didn’t have their passports or any ID with them , they were refused wine with their meal and any drinks which slightly changed the celebratory occasion. We don’t normally drink but on a special night out we would not have expected to have this to have been refused. I belive that they should tell diners when booking g that without ID they will be refused alcohol . Never has this ever happened before in my life time of dining out with my family. I am 56 and my husband 66 so it was a shock.

Welcoming pub with excellent food and generous portions, would recommend.

The Pink Cabbage is an excellent destination if you want a good cup of tea or coffee and their lunch food has been very good each time we've visited

As usual great quality food .. chicken and fish n chips were fab thank you
