Little Bull is sincere, nostalgic comfort food, inspired by the palates of first-generation immigrant kids. Pocho cuisine is not a gimmick. Like Oscar, it’s a little bull-headed, but with no bullshit. It means more than loaded terms like “New American” or “modern Mexican.” And it’s authentic to Chef’s personal experience.“American food is undefined. But it’s been designated to certain ideas and people. It’s actually evolving, as much as our landscape is a melting pot. As much as my own identity as a first-generation American and chef.”Pocho started as a term used by people in Mexico to poke fun at the “American” kids who speak Spanglish. At Little Bull, pocho cuisine showcases the evolution of being a chef in America, inspired by every immigrant and their growing influence on our food.

Excellent experience…. Food was very tasty and nicely presented… our server Charles could not be any more pleasant…knowledgeable and efficient… the ambiance was perfect for an intimate dinner for two or for a group of friends… which was obvious by the customers present in the dining room! I generally don’t write reviews, but JuJu Durham deserves all the stars and praise. If I could have eaten everything on the menu, I would have! My partner and I enjoyed the sizzling sisig with bing bread, drunken noodles, bomb a** shrimp, and the bao donuts. When I tell you that we were savoring every bite, I am not lying. Everything was cooked to perfect and came out at the perfect time from meal to meal. The hostess and waitress were very attentive — waters were never empty, we weren’t waiting forever to order, etc. My only comment was that it was pretty loud in the restaurant when it gets busy, so if you want something intimate maybe Juju is not for you. Overall, 10/10. We will definitely be coming back again and again.

We went for Christmas dinner. We used to go for their buffet meals at different holidays like Thanksgiving, Easter and Mother’s Day and we loved it. We really enjoyed the meal there today and hope they continue to offer it, or maybe return to the buffet offering. Maybe a bit more advertising would help them have a bigger number of folks. Our waitress was so nice and took great care of us. The food was excellent, and the restaurant is a nice place to have a meal. Try it, if you haven’t.
