The food and service are always 5 stars. I love the Filet Mignon, Chocolate Lava Cake and Lemon Merinque Tart. Nick & Stef's is the only restaurant that makes Chocolate Lava Cake without the burnt taste I've experienced elsewhere. Go to Nick & Stef's. You will not be disappointed.More infoNick & Stef’s Steakhouse - Los AngelesPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.8

We had settled on two menu items to order and then our server told us they were both not available. It was one substitute. Quiche Lorraine. It was good but small portion. We ordered as an appetizer, roasted brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze, goat cheese, and dried apricots. This was the star of the meal! our waiter was very attentive and personable. The food and service were top notch. Expect to pay over $100 per person but well worth itMore infoSan LaurelPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Downtown•4.7

- WWALTERLos Angeles •14 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI've seen lots of negative comments about pre-theater meals at Vespaio. I can't speak to these. The four of us went early (5 p.m.) after a matinee at the Ahmanson, partially in order to avoid rush hour traffic. Our meal was outstanding! We had pork belly, a pasta, pizza, and rockfish (special for the night). All were very, very good. The rosemary potatoes were probably the best potatoes I've EVER had (potatoes may seem like a trivial part of a meal, but they're an indicator). Service was prompt, friendly, and helpful. My guess is that if you pick the time you go so the restaurant isn't too crowded and if you're not too rushed, you'll have as good a meal as you'll find almost anywhere in the L.A. area.More infoVespaioPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.3
