Restaurants near Washington Monument

We follow the Voltaggio brothers on tv shows and have eaten at a handful of their restaurants over the years so we were excited to give Wye Oak a try. The food and ambiance was amazing. Our server was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of great suggestions that more or less became our entire dining experience. Service started out very attentive but as our evening progressed we did see a decline in such, given that this restaurant just opened kinks like this are expected. I would definitely come back again!

Great food and service. Had our family Christmas lunch there and the staff was very accomidating. Jake our server and Sharon? (Our second server) were wonderful juggling food orders and requests from 15 people. We will make this our annual tradition!

We had an early dinner here on Christmas Eve. The staff were wearing holiday themed sweaters and hats and had a cheerful attitude. All four of us had brunch items - the eggs were perfectly sunny side up! Everyone cleaned their plates except me, the Chicken and egg sandwich was large so I took half home. The breakfast potatoes were so crispy! And the bar drinks were nicely done, especially the old fashioned.

Molten butter cake was amazing. Lamb gnocchi was fabulous. We lucked out and had a large table in a quiet corner. Terrific service. Can't wait to return.
